We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season - we sure did!!  Now that we have finished taking inventory (groan!!) we are checking new merchandise in as fast as we can so there is a lot of new stuff to look at!!  New  Magazines,  great new patterns by Favorite Things,  Quilt Patterns,  two new lines from Moda including "All You Need Is Love" with great heart prints, stripes & dots.  Our 2008 Class Schedule is now available on line with lots of old favorites and interesting new additions.  Call the shop to sign up.  Check back next week for lotssss more new fabrics.

We have just gotten two new patterns from Children's Corner - a precious hooded jacket called Casey and a cute blouse/pant combo named Gigi.  Also Amy Butler' ready-made Sweet Life Bags - these fashionable, multi-functional bags are custom-made with smart details, organized pockets, and plenty of room for stashing all of your personal necessities.  Impeccable quality & design highlighted by Amy's gorgeous signature Nigella fabrics!

Karen Faylor's latest pattern, St. Tropez has arrived as well as new Purse patterns, Quilt Books, a great new Appliqué book and Quilt Pattern from Cheri Strole, 1 1/2" crocheted Trim in three colors, and a new book on Needle Felting.  Two new precious groupings from Clothworks in Novelty Prints and we are now carrying Hang Loose, a anti-static lining in five colors.

So many new things!!!   Five new plates by Crosseyed Cricket, a block letter & number plate by Ellen McCarn - great for names!!  Kari Me Away's Jack & Jill Diaper Set and Zac & Zoe Romper by Mary Kathryn Barton and Australian Smocking #80!!  And last but not least - our Fall Class Schedule is now on the website - lots of fun classes including a new purse class and home dec demo by Brenda Eppele and serger classes taught by Renee Spell, a Martha Pullen licensed instructor.

More new fabrics from Fabric Finders!  Check out the gorgeous Micro Stripes - soft as butter and pleats great - 60" wide - great for bigger girl smocked garments!!  More Solid Twills,  Brushed Houndstooths, a new green Cotton Oxford and a beautiful Pima Lawn.  Four bright fun prints from Moda - I can see linings for corduroy jumpers or jackets!! Also the Christmas edition of Creative Needle just arrived.

Just a quick note to let you know that the shop will be closed Monday, September 3rd for Labor Day. 

Now to the new stuff!!!!!  It's finally here - our first shipment of the new Amy Butler line Nigella and more is on the way - it is already selling like hot cakes.  Great new fabrics in Miscellaneous Prints, Fabric Finders, Twills (both solids and prints), and new colors of Brushed Houndstooths and Brushed Plaids from Fabric Finders, also a new brown/lime pique and we were able to get another bolt of the apples on hot pink corduroy but it is the last one!
