Elegant Stitches has moved to a new home on the upper level of Waverly Place Shopping Center in Cary, NC.  Waverly Place is located at the intersection of Kildaire Farm Road and Tryon Road, caddy corner from Western Wake Hospital.  Our new location is just 3 1/2 miles south of our original location in downtown Cary and is easily accessible from US 1/64.  Below are written directions from from various cities in our state.  Click on the area closest to you for directions.  We look forward to seeing you soon.

From our old location: Take a right at the light on Chatham St onto Academy St.  At the light in front of the school take a left onto Kildaire Farm Rd.  Go 3.5 miles.  Take a left onto Tryon Rd.  At the next light turn right onto New Waverly Pace.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Raleigh/North Raleigh: Take I-440 S towards I-440/Outer Beltline/Apex.  Go straight on US-1 S.  Take Cary Parkway Exit.  Turn left on SE Cary Parkway.   Drive for .7 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for .8 miles.  At light turn left onto New Waverly Place.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Chapel Hill/Durham: Take I-40 E towards Raleigh. Take exit number 293 towards US-1 S / US-64 W / SANFORD. Drive for 0.2 miles.  Turn SLIGHT RIGHT to get on US-1 S towards US-1 S / US-64 W / SANFORD / ASHEBORO. Drive for 2.3 miles.  Take Cary Parkway Exit.  Turn left on SE Cary Parkway.   Drive for .7 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for .8 miles.  At light turn left onto New Waverly Place.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Garner: Take US-70 W towards Raleigh.  Drive for 2.3 miles.  Turn left onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for 7.5 miles.  At light take a left onto New Waverly Pace.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Wilmington: Take I-40 W.  Drive for 119.2 miles.  Take exit #295 -Gorman St exit.  Turn left onto Gorman St.  Drive for .3 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for 4.2 miles.  At light take a left onto New Waverly Pace.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Fayetteville: Take I-95 N.  Drive for 26.1 miles.  Take exit #81 towards I-40/Raleigh/Wilmington.  Drive for .3 miles.  Turn slight left to get on I-40 W towards Raleigh.  Drive for 32.7 miles.  Take exit #295- Gorman St exit.  Turn left onto Gorman St.  Drive for .3 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for 4.2 miles.  At light take a left onto New Waverly Pace.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Goldsboro: Take US-70 W. Drive for 19.4 miles.  Take I-40 W towards Raleigh.  Drive for 10.5 miles.  Take exit #295- Gorman St exit.  Turn left onto Gorman St.  Drive for .3 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for 4.2 miles.  At light take a left onto New Waverly Pace.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Greenville/Rocky Mount/Wilson: Take US-64 W towards Raleigh.  Take I-440 W towards I-440 N/Outer Beltline/Wake Forest.  Drive for 11.9 miles.  Go straight on US-1 S.  Drive for 2.7 miles.  Take Cary Parkway Exit.  Turn left on SE Cary Parkway.   Drive for .7 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for .8 miles.  At light turn left onto New Waverly Place.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Charlotte: Take I-85 N towards Greensboro.  Drive for 48.6 miles.  Take exit number 87 to get on I-85-BR N towards I-85-BR / US-29 / US-52 / US-70 / Lexington / High Point / Winston-Salem. Drive for 4.1 miles.  Take exit number 87 to get on I-85-BL N towards I-85-BR / US-29 / US-70 / High Point. Drive for 25.5 miles.  Take I-85 N towards I-85 N / US-29 / US-70 / Greensboro. Drive for 44.3 miles.  Keep SLIGHT RIGHT at the fork towards I-40 E. Drive for 33.9 miles.  Take exit number 293 towards US-1 S / US-64 W / SANFORD. Drive for 0.2 miles.  Turn SLIGHT RIGHT to get on US-1 S towards US-1 S / US-64 W / SANFORD / ASHEBORO. From Winston-Salem: Take I-40 BR E towards US-158 E/US-421 S/I-40-BR E/GREENSBORO.  Drive for 12.6 miles.  Take I-40 E.  Drive for 85.2 miles.  Take exit number 293 towards US-1 S / US-64 W / SANFORD. Drive for 0.2 miles.  Turn SLIGHT RIGHT to get on US-1 S towards US-1 S / US-64 W / SANFORD / ASHEBORO. From Asheboro/Pittsboro: Take  US-64 E to Cary.  At intersection of US-1 go straight on Tryon Rd.  Drive for .9 miles.  Go straight through light at Kildaire Farm Rd.  At the next light turn right onto New Waverly Pace.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Sanford/Southern Pines: Take US-1 N towards Raleigh/Cary.  Take exit number 98A to get on Tryon Rd towards Tryon Rd East.  Drive .9 miles.  Go straight through light at Kildaire Farm Rd.  At the next light turn right onto New Waverly Pace.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Wake Forest: Take US-1 S.  Drive for 10 miles.  Turn slight right to get on I-440 W towards I-440 W / OUTER BELTLINE / US-1 S / SANFORD.  Drive for 10.1 miles.  Go straight on US-1 S.  Drive for 2.7 miles.  Take Cary Parkway Exit.  Turn left on SE Cary Parkway.   Drive for .7 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for .8 miles.  At light turn left onto New Waverly Place.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Louisburg: Take S US-401.  Drive for 25.2 miles.  Turn slight right to get on I-440 W towards I-440 W / OUTER BELTLINE / US-1 S / SANFORD.  Drive for 10.1 miles.  Go straight on US-1 S.  Drive for 2.7 miles.  Take Cary Parkway Exit.  Turn left on SE Cary Parkway.   Drive for .7 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for .8 miles.  At light turn left onto New Waverly Place.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.

From Kinston and points East: Take  US-70 W heading towards Raleigh.  Take LEFT exit #336 to get on US-70-BYP N.  Drive for 2.1 miles.  Take US-70 W.  Drive for 19.4 miles.  Take I-40 W towards Raleigh.  Drive for 10.5 miles.  Take exit #295- Gorman St exit.  Turn left onto Gorman St.  Drive for .3 miles.  Turn right onto Tryon Rd.  Drive for 4.2 miles.  At light take a left onto New Waverly Pace.  Take the first right onto Colonades Way.  Take a left into the second parking lot entrance which is across from Burger King.  We are on the left right past Serotta's.
