Silks
Pre-treat your silk fabrics using the same
cleaning method that you plan to use for the garment after construction.
You may want to purchase a little extra fabric for experimenting with cleaning
methods.
Washing: Some silk fabrics actually
look better when washed, as dry cleaning can sometimes cause a garment to look
dull.
Silk fabrics typically soften when washed. If you want your silk to stay crisp,
consider dry cleaning.
Type in the quantity you desire. Yardage must be typed
in decimals:

1/4 = .25 |
3/8 = .38 |
1/2 = .50 |
5/8 = .63 |
3/4 = .75 |
7/8 = .88 |
Example: If you need 2 5/8 yd. type 2.63 in
the quantity space.
