Longarm Machine
Quilting
Hand-guided longarm machine quilting services, including pantographs, all over quilting designs, and custom quilting. Other services include machine basting a quilt top for hand quilting, binding and partial binding.
Quilting Services and Pricing:
Preparing Your Quilt Top for Longarm Machine Quilting: The quilt top should be flat, pressed, and free of loose threads. All seams should be secure. Save three dimensional embellishments like buttons, charms, etc. for after the quilting is completed. DO NOT BASTE YOUR QUILT TOP TO THE BATTING AND BACKING. Provide squared backing and batting that are at least 3 to 4 inches larger than the quilt top ON ALL SIDES. This is required for loading the quilt on the frame of the quilting machine. If the backing is pieced, please use a 1/2 seam allowance and press it open. Please remove selvages. Please provide the quilting density recommendations for the batting you select. No fusible batting. If you chose to provide your own thread, it must be suitable for use in a longarm quilting machine.
Procedures: A worksheet will be filled out and approved by the client and quilter when a quilt is accepted for quilting. This worksheet will include all pertinent information including measurements, price, estimated completion date and the agreed upon quilting design. Both parties will have a copy of the worksheet. Full payment is due when quilting is completed; no work will be released without full payment.
