In MASTERING MITERS, you will learn to miter
symmetric and asymmetric hems, outside bindings, narrow and wide borders
and applied bands. Great mitering techniques can be used for edges and
corners of garments, quilts and wall hangings, bed and table linens and

Cardigan Jacket

basic pattern to suit your style and mood.

Valencia Jacket & Pants
Jacket: Loose-fitting jacket with soft, fold-back lapels, long sleeves with
faced cuffs and angled narrow hems. Under sleeves end in ?V? at waistline
side seams. Wrong side of fabric shows on lapels. Pant: Straight-leg pant
with inner leg seams only, flat waistband in front, elastic sides and back.

Bells & Whistles Shirts
Bells Shirt: Semi-fitted shirt has collar and collar band, curved front band
closure, left shoulder overlay and back darts. Below-elbow, set-in sleeves
have split band and cuff. Floating front band provides buttoning options.
Curved shirttail hem. Whistles Shirt: Loose-fitting shirt in two lengths has
front and back placket wedges, collar, long sleeves, and partially concealed

Haiku Two Very loose-fitting, unlined jacket

Mix It Shirt, Top & Tank This shirt is mid-hip, button-front
shirt/jacket featuring a v-neck with a narrow stand-up collar,

sleeves, side vents, and narrow stitched hems. The mid-hip tank has abias-bound

Tuscany T Tuscany T is an oversized basic
T-shirt with pegged shaping, dropped shoulders, and long tapered sleeves
with deep roll-back cuff. Also can be lengthened and worn as a tunic. Milano
T is a shaped semi-fitted, European styled basic T-shirt with extended
shoulder line forming cap sleeves, a bound neckline, topstitched bottom, and
sleeve hems.

Three Fold Vest Two long rectangles cleverly
crisscross and button together in the front. A V-shaped insert detail holds
the back together. This easy but high-style vest looks great with or without
a t-shirt. For light to mid-weight fabrics in stable knits or wovens such as

L2 Bag This is Linda Lee's favorite tote
bag - thus the name L (squared), her nickname. It's the perfect size. Not
too big, but holds a lot, a shoulder bag that fits snugly under your arm,

clever magnetic tabs. It's so much fun to make in a great piece of vintage
upholestry fabric, a drapery-weight toile fabric or a remnant from your
favorite garment. Carry it as a handbag, put your regular purse inside it,
