The Christening 2 Collection

The Christening 2 Collection contains complete Pattern Sets for 18 different baby garments, complete with matching shoes and bonnets for most.  Each pre-embellished pattern piece stitches IN THE 6x9 HOOP, complete with pattern cutting lines & seam line stitching lines.  Each pattern set can be made into a gathered dress, pleated dress, or pleated bubble with larger pattern pieces included on the full-size pattern sheet.  Dresses can be long or short, and sleeves can be straight or gathered, long or short.  For christening or dedication day these outfits can be as fancy as you choose.  Complete instructions for an unusual antique reproduction christening wrap are also included.  The designs can be used for everyday outfits too, with a wide selection of collar choices & a series of baby-sized whimsical figures to add to any garment.  Included are gifts for baby that also stitch in the hoop, line a tiny tote bag and a christening Bible cover.  A 6x9 hoop works best for his collection, but similar results can be achieved by those with 5x7 hoops and editing software.  A full size pattern sheet is included for larger garment patterns.  Fits 9-16+ pounds.  All pattern pieces are interchangeable with Christening Collection1!

The Christening Collection

Larger hoop owners can now stitch decorated christening gown & baby dress pieces, including the pattern cutting lines, in the hoop!  Choose one of the 6 complete gown themes included, or start with the blank pattern pieces and design your own.  Use your copy, paste, mirror & rotate functions to turn these 231 delicate designs into an infinite number of your own creations.  Many are included in both white on white and in colors, making them perfect for any delicate sewing project.  Small religious symbols are included.  The front & back yoke, collar & straight sleeve pattern pieces provided are for a 11-13 pound baby.  If you need a slightly larger size, delete just the pattern piece from each file and stitch only the embellishment portion, then lay your own pattern over the embroidery and cut out in the traditional way.  Included are several embellished one-piece bodices ready to stitch, with matching skirt designs.  These can be used for preemies or small dolls.  8 machine formats are included:  art, jef, pes, sew, xxx, hus, pcs, exp  Photos of each gown are included on CD.

The Heirloom Collection
