Child’s Tucked Blouse Created exclusively for our retreat, Lezette will be teaching a variety of machine heirloom techniques culminating in a most elegant child's linen blouse. An over blouse that can be paired with a skirt, lovely pants or even jeans would be equally an charming in lined pique or lightweight corduroy for winter. The blouse will be of handkerchief linen featuring tucks in the front and back,, and at the top of the sleeves with an asymmetrical opening closing with pearl buttons. Sized 2-12 and embellished with feather stitching.

LezetteThomson has been
co-owner of Children's Corner, a company that designs and publishes children's
clothing patterns, for 33 years. She is the author of Children's Corner's
English Smocking in 1981, Victorian Elegance, 1996, That Patchwork Place,
Dolly's Wardrobe, 1998, Children's Corner Dolly's Friends 1999, Children's
Corner and Idea's from Children's Corner, 2007. She is a contributing writer to
Sew Beautiful Magazine, Australian Smocking and Australian Inspirations. Lezette
is both a national and international teacher having taught at Martha Pullen
School of Art Fashion since 1991 and recently accepted the BERNINA teachership
at Martha Pullen School. She teaches four schools a year in Nashville at
Children's Corner as well as many other shops and guilds across the country and
at the SAGA National Convention where she has been a part of the SAGA Artisan
Program for the last 8 years. She continues to draft patterns, write and
illustrate for Children's Corner.
