Celebration Wallhanging  
Want something new and
exciting?! This is it!! Make a small abstract wallhanging and be inspired and
thrilled by your possibilities. Gloria Loughman breaks the process down into
very doable steps that make it possible to create amazing pieces that will
awe. We will do fusible raw edge appliqué, invisible appliqué, and foundation
piecing. HOMEWORK REQUIRED but you will be hooked and want to do more!!
Advanced beginner level.

Quilted Symphony by Gloria Loughman
10-12 fabrics varying in color, pattern and value - ¼ yd or FQ of each -
14" X 19" backing piece
¼ yd for binding
1 yd Freezer Paper
1 yard of 40" wide tear-away stabilizer (I managed with 1 yd of 20" tear-away)
1 yard of paper-backed fusible web - Wonder-Under, Steam-A-Seam, Vliesofix or
similar product
14" X 19" Batting
Invisible Thread: - nylon or polyester- Author recommends Monopoly by Superior
or Wonder Invisible Thread by YLI
Needles - Size 60/8 or 70/10 for invisible thread
Thread to match fabrics
Scissors to include: Paper scissors, fine point scissors, and fabric scissors
Pencil
Extra Bobbins and Needles
Sewing Machine
Walking Foot
Free Motion Foot
